This beautiful historic home in the heart of Kittery has been updated and renovated in all the right places. There is a dedicated desk and working space in the lower level den area just off the kitchen as well as a full size couch and smart TV and free WIFI. A perfect spot to get things done when you're away from your office. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, coffee maker and more for your cooking enjoyment. The refrigerator has an ice maker on the door and a dishwasher and electric range complete the necessary amenities for the modern kitchen. The dining room will comfortably seat 6. The first floor also has a full bath with stand-up shower and a family room to kick back and relax with a good book or TV. The upstairs offers 3 bedrooms and a dedicated laundry room. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a queen bed, dresser and full closet for clothes. Bedroom 2 also has a queen bed, dresser and closet. Bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds and a closet. There is also a full size bath with tub/shower combination. Beautiful 3 bedroom home situated in very quiet neighborhood just a short walk away from downtown Portsmouth. Many restaurants, bars, arts and shopping within walking distance.

Guest Access

Guests will have full access to the first and second floors entirely to themselves. There is a basement, and owners storage on the 3rd floor that are restricted by guests. There is also a garage onsite that is not accessible to guests. Guest stays will not be interrupted by owner or property manager visits unless requested by the guest.

Steve's place in Kittery is charming, comfortable and located in a cute neighborhood right next to the bridge that connects Kittery to Portsmouth. We were there to celebrate my son and daughter-in-law's film at the NH film festival. We left our cars in the driveway and walked into Portsmouth each day, sometimes making several trips. It really was about as perfect a location as you could find. As for the house, it is exactly as listed, plenty of room for the 6 of us with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting rooms. I would recommend this listing without hesitation!

Steve and Jen were both absolutely wonderful hosts! Both were extremely communicative, responsive, informative, welcoming, and accommodating. They areclearly very experienced in hosting and the house was beyond well equipped with absolutely everything, especially the kitchen, which, unlike many other houses on Airbnb, was fully equipped with all possible needed cooking utensils and appliances, and even stoced with common spices etc. to make cooking that much easier. The home is also beautifully well maintained. A truly absolutely charming antiqur colonial fully updated with all moderate amenities yet retaining all the charm of the beautiful seaside Maine home. Every room from living rooms to bedrooms was fully stocked with extra blankets and pillows to make everything feel just like home. Really can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was in every way. Would recommend their home to absolutely anyone. You won't be disappointed! Thanks again to Jen & Steve for everthing!

For a celebration of my 70th birthday, I decided to go to an area I hadn't visited before. I found this home in Kittery, ME. I had my best friend and my daughter with me to celebrate and we together can be quite picky about certain things, having all been travelers. We found this house and the area quite to our liking. My daughter & friend walked across the bridge several times to Portsmouth, NH. There were many shops and places to eat that satisfied us all. Those 2 are vegetarian so we like to get food from groceries to prepare some of the time. We all like coffee & tea and have to have the best of both. There were bookstores and clothing stores nearby as well as all sorts of dining. The house reminded me of my grandmother's family home in the Midwest. It felt good so that we enjoyed eating breakfast there as well as some dinners. I would prefer not to have stairs, but got my exercise. I loved sitting outside on the front porch in the swing. I think we used each room. Lovely

We had an fabulous time on our girl's trip exploring the area and using this house as our home base. So convenient to downtown Portsmouth, and a breeze to drive up to Kennebunkport and beyond if you prefer. Excellent breakfast at Lil's Cafe. We could have easily walked there. The house was clean and comfortable, and the communication was definitely 5 stars. Would 100% stay again and recommend it. Thank you!
